Dr. Shane

Dr. Shane’s route to chiropractic school was slightly less dramatic. While playing basketball and baseball at the University of Sioux Falls, Dr. Shane suffered from a severe case of low back pain. After weeks of pushing through the pain, he finally decided to see a chiropractor. Following one visit–that’s right, one visit–the back pain vanished and never returned for the remainder of the season. That experience led him to learn more about chiropractic and natural health care. What started as simply wanting to get out of pain, turned into a passion and career.

Dr. Shane is passionate about educating others about chiropractic and living a healthy lifestyle. He enjoys speaking to his patients and the public about healthy living. Whether it be nutrition, supplementation, stress reduction, pain relief, or exercise recommendations, Dr Shane would love to help.

Dr. Laura

Following a car accident when Dr. Laura was in high school, she suffered severe headaches, migraines and mood changes. Once a very active, social high school student and athlete, she was now in severe pain, constantly limiting her social and sporting activities. Doctor after doctor and medication after medication offered no relief. Things were getting worse until she finally tried chiropractic. For the first time in a long time, she had relief. After continued chiropractic treatment, she no longer suffered headaches and migraines, and her energy and social interest returned. She was able to reduce and remove all medications she was taking. Life was good again. She attended St. Scholastica College in Duluth and trained as a biathlete (skiing and shooting) for the Minnesota Biathlon team. Chiropractic school followed, and so did Dr. Shane.

Dr. Laura now has a special interest in taking care of families, pregnant women, infants, and children. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. She is trained with the Webster technique, a technique for pregnant women that aligns the pelvis to allow for optimum baby position during delivery. She is also trained as a doula and hypnobirthing. Dr. Laura enjoys working with newborns to teens, helping them achieve their best possible growth, development and success through school. She enjoys working with pregnant women striving for a comfortable pregnancy, labor and delivery of a healthy baby.
